Three Thirty Three Arts

A 501c3 Nonprofit Corporation

As an extension of Local Edition Creative’s offerings, our nonprofit organization Three Thirty Three Arts (333 Arts) is 100% volunteer-led and is a way for us to further make a difference in communities through the power of art. The mission of 333 Arts is to provide a forum using creativity to collaborate with community participants and also to elevate emerging artists by highlighting their public art contribution. Founded originally as Dragon School in 2016 in Oakland, CA, our organization rebranded as Three Thirty Three Arts in January of 2020 in order to reach a broader audience.

Being a 501(c)(3) that serves as a public charity, 333 Arts strives to build connections in communities using art as our conduit. In addition to supporting artists, we also hold popular volunteer mural painting sessions where the public can join in, with no experience necessary, to help create beautiful connections with each other through public art. Understanding first-hand how rewarding it is to connect with various people of diverse backgrounds, we created a platform to make it accessible for interested parties to get involved in this positive experience. These sessions are always free for participants and funded primarily through donations and sponsorships. Through creativity and community involvement, we aim to empower people to explore and take interest in their own cities and the communities around them, leaving a lasting positive impact through the gift of public art.
